You will visit the Cova Tallada from the water, from one of our kayaks. But, before leaving, we will have a meeting, 30 minutes before the excursion, to explain the safety regulations and give you the equipment. But is your first time kayaking? Don't worry, our guides will help you at all times so that you can quickly get used to the kayak. You will end up being an expert!
The kayak excursion along the coast of Denia starts at Les Rotes beach. We will travel 600 meters and we will row inside the Cova Tallada. A place that corresponds as a rough stone quarry to build some of the most important buildings in municipalities such as Denia or Jávea. Similarly, it is also attributed as a refuge during the II World War.
Despite not having been sculpted by nature over the years, this cave is considered part of the landscape of the Montgó Natural Park. Without a doubt, a mandatory stop for those who visit the Denia area.
We will proceed to enter the interior of it, leaving the kayaks aside to do a caving session to see up close and learn how the rough rock was extracted. Next, once this activity is over, we will put on our diving goggles and together with our guides we will enjoy the fauna and flora that surrounds the Cova Tallada while snorkeling.
